All MobileReference books are available for iPhone and iPad users. You can use the Kindle Reader or iBooks Reader app to read books. If you are using the Kindle reader, you must purchase books directly from Amazon.com.
The Kindle Reader and iBooks Reader are comparable is quality. However, as of December 2010, the iBooks Reader lacks the Back button and has a bug which results in some links inside books to become dead after first use (we reported these shortcomings to Apple in August, 2010). As a result we recommend Amazon the Amazon Kindle Reader for iPhone and iPad users. MobileReference books in dictionary format (including the Big English Encyclopedia and the Big English Dictionary) are NOT available for iBooks Reader at this time. |
