This is not only the most convenient way to download, it is also the cheapest - B&N discounts books by about 20%. MobileReference books in dictionary format (including the Big English Encyclopedia and the Big English Dictionary) are NOT available for iNook at this time.
Sony Reader Users
All MobileReference books are available for Sony Readers. The most convenient way to own MobileReference books on your Sony Reader is to download them from Sony.com. This is not only the most convenient way to download, it is also the cheapest - Sony discounts books by about 10%. MobileReference books in dictionary format (including the Big English Encyclopedia and the Big English Dictionary) are NOT available for iSony Readers at this time.
iPhone and iPad Users
All MobileReference books are available for iPhone and iPad users. You can use the Kindle Reader or iBooks Reader app to read books. If you are using the Kindle reader, you must purchase books directly from Amazon.com. The Kindle Reader and iBooks Reader are comparable in quality. However, as of October 2011, the iBooks Reader has a bug which results in some links inside books to become dead after first use (we reported these shortcomings to Apple in August, 2010). As a result we recommend the Amazon Kindle Reader for iPhone and iPad users.
Android Phone
All MobileReference books are available for Android phones. Download Amazon Kindle Reader for Android - Search For "Kindle" in the Android Market on your phone. After you download the Kindle Reader, you can download books from Amazon.com.
Other Smartphones
To read a book on a smartphone you need to install the Reader software. Please check Amazon.com if the the Reader software is available for your phone. If not, please check the MobiPocket Reader developed by MobiPocket, the Amazon.com company. If you have purchased MobileReference eBook from Handango, please install MobiPocket Reader on your device to read the book.
